TITAN SHARRCEM is currently looking for a proficient and driven Accountant to join our Finance Team. As an Accountant, he/she will be pivotal in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in accounting principles, with demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.Update accounts receivable/accounts payable and perform reconciliations.Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.Assist with reviewing expenses, etc., as assigned.Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns and other reports to the tax authorities.Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns.Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits.Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes.Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.Assist with other accounting projects.Candidate Profile:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Chartered Accountancy would be a plus.3-5 years of experience within an accounting department.Sound knowledge of tax legislation and requirements.Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Excellent analytical and communication skills.SAP knowledge preferred, or working knowledge of similar ERP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.Willingness to go the extra mile.Good knowledge of the English language
