Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Officer to join our team and oversee key financial operations at our cryptocurrency exchange. This role is essential in managing financial transactions, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring accurate accounting across the company and its sister entities. The ideal candidate will act as the main liaison between our internal team and our external financial service provider.

This role is essential in managing financial transactions, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring accurate accounting across the company and its sister entities. The ideal candidate will act as the main liaison between our internal team and our external financial service provider.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Tax Oversight:
- Oversee and verify tax declarations prepared by our external accounting service provider.
- Prepare and manage internal accounting and tax declarations for our sister companies.
Financial Management:
- Monitor day-to-day financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow already prepared by our external accounting service provider.
- Analyze financial reports, statements, and key metrics.
Crypto Finance Oversight:
- Monitor and reconcile cryptocurrency transactions across platforms.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Maintain records of crypto holdings and movement.
Vendor & Service Provider Coordination:
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Act as the main point of contact for our outsourced accounting and tax service provider.
- Ensure timely and accurate service delivery from third parties.
Expense & Cost Management:
- Track and analyze company expenses.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize budget allocations.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to local financial and tax regulations.
- Identify and help mitigate financial risks and inefficiencies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., SCAAK) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably within fintech or financial services.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency and blockchain is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
