StarLabs is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Front-End JavaScript Developer to participate in the development of high-performance web applications. If you are an experienced professional with a solid background in JavaScript, along with additional hands-on experience in TypeScript, and a drive for continuous improvement, we encourage you to apply. Familiarity with frameworks is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Application Lifecycle: Participate in the entire application lifecycle, with a focus on coding, debugging, and testing.
• Front-End Architecture: Design and develop performant code using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Quality and Best Practices: Promote best practices, focus on quality, and explore new ways to enhance current and new systems.
• Collaboration: Work with engineers across multiple teams and continents to share knowledge and improve the codebase.
• Testing: Write unit and component automated tests to ensure high-quality code.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and debug front-end web apps to identify and fx issues.
• Legacy Application Improvement: Utilize cutting-edge technologies to enhance legacy applications.
• Technical Requirements: Gather and address technical and design requirements for new and existing systems

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development.
• Expert in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with performance optimization and web vital optimization to create a great user experience.
• Familiarity with frameworks (a plus).
• Strong experience with CSS libraries.
• Knowledge of front-end monitoring, observability, and testing tools such as Playwright, Highlight, Datadog, and more.
• Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confuence, Bitbucket).
