At Ted Baker / Brooks Brothers, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, innovation, and creativity in the fashion world.Responsibilities:Process and record daily financial transactions related to retail operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Manage point-of-sale (POS) system data to facilitate smooth transactions and accurate reporting. Assist with inventory control and cost accounting procedures to optimize retail operations. Prepare and reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable to maintain financial integrity.Independently generate and analyze key financial reports such as the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.Support month-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Maintain a strong understanding of retail-specific accounting regulations, including sales tax compliance.Collaborate with other departments such as sales and operations to provide valuable financial insights and support decision-making processes.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the retail industry. Proven ability to independently read, interpret, and analyze financial statements.
