About the role

As a junior Virtual Accountant, your daily tasks involve monitoring customer files and recording AI-generated invoice registrations and financial transactions as draft entries.

Your daily tasks

Monitor customer files
Check & register AI-generated invoice registrations (as draft entries)
Check & register financial transactions (as draft entries)
Prepare contracts & documents
Monitor bank synchronizations & renewal deadlines
Report daily operations to management or supervisor(s)

What we're looking for

Recent graduate
Bacherlor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or any other related field
Very high fluency in English
Knowledge of Dutch (Nederlands) is a plus, but not necessary
Attention to detail & critical thinking
Understanding the concepts & fundamentals of accounting (GAAP) & financial reporting
Understanding the concepts of VAT & income taxes
Tech-savvy
Strong sense of confidentiality, cyber security & protection of sensitive data
Ambitious & open for feedback
Eager to learn new things & actively seek improvement
Interest in obtaining SCAAK or IKAF certifications is a plus
